Ingredients



  • (1) 20 oz. can Pineapple (for best results use slices)
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1 C. Brown Sugar
  • 3 oz. Orange juice
  • 2 T. Cornstarch
  • 2 T. Water

Directions



Step 1

Remove pineapple slices from the can, reserve pineapple juice. Carefully cut the slices into eighths.

Step 2

Place butter, brown sugar, orange juice, cut pineapple, and pineapple juice in medium saucepan set on Medium High.

Step 3

Combine cornstarch and water in a separate bowl, mix until completely mixed and lump free.

Step 4

When the sauce reaches a boil quickly stir cornstarch mix into the sauce.

Step 5

After the sauce has reached a second boil, reduce to low heat. (Should easily coat the back of a spoon.)

Step 6

Spoon the thickened glaze over top of the ham and on the slices.

Notes



This recipe will work with any 20 ounce can of pineapple. (Crushed, Tidbits will only yield different finished product)
