Ingredients



  • 16 oz. Kunzler Ham, diced, set aside
  • 2 T. Oil
  • 4 T. Butter
  • 1 small White onion, diced
  • 4 stalks Celery, diced
  • 2 C. Ham broth
  • 16 oz. Frozen chopped spinach
  • 4 oz. Cream cheese (optional)
  • 4 T. Cornstarch
  • 2 C. Half and half

Directions



Step 1

Dice ham and set aside.

Step 2

Place large stock pot on burner set to medium high heat.

Step 3

Add oil, butter, onions, and celery. Stir while cooking to prevent any sticking, cook 4 minutes.

Step 4

Add ham broth bring to a boil, cook for 8 minutes. Add Ham, spinach, and cream cheese.

Step 5

Add cornstarch to half and half in a separate bowl, stir into the soup and bring to boil.

Step 6

Reduce heat to low until ready to serve. Add salt and pepper to taste.
