Ingredients



  • 16 ounces Kunzler Ham, diced, set aside

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 each small white onion, diced
  • 4 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 cups ham broth
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 16 ounces frozen chopped spinach
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (optional)

Directions



Step 1

Dice ham and set aside.

Step 2

Place large stock pot on burner set to medium high heat.

Step 3

Add oil, butter, onions, and celery. Stir while cooking to prevent any sticking, cook 4 minutes.

Step 4

Add ham broth bring to a boil, cook for 8 minutes. Add Ham, spinach, and cream cheese.

Step 5

Add cornstarch to half and half, stir into the soup and bring to boil.

Step 6

Reduce heat to low, add salt and pepper to taste.
