Bring back that home cooked taste with this soup made with vegetables straight from the local produce stand. Leftovers won’t be an issue because everyone is going to want seconds.

Ingredients
- 2 Crock Hocks
- ½ Onion, peeled and diced
- 6-8 rib Celery, diced
- 4 Parsnips, peeled and diced
- 6 Carrots, peeled and diced
- 4 Potatoes, peeled and diced
- (2) 32 oz containers Chicken broth
- Loaf of bread (optional)
Directions
Step 1
Place Hocks on the bottom of the slow cooker.
Step 2
Place diced vegetables on top of the hocks.
Step 3
Cover with stock/water, place lid on slow cooker, cook for 8 hours on low.
Step 4
Before serving, adjust salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Carefully spoon out vegetables into serving dish.
Step 6
Place the ham hocks on separate serving tray.
Step 7
Serve with loaf of bread and enjoy!
