Ingredients



  • 1 5lb Kunzler Old Fashioned Ham
  • 16 ounces Brown Sugar
  • ½ C Coke
  • ¾ C Bourbon
  • 4 T Butter
  • ½ C Spicy Brown Mustard (optional)
  • 1 T Cornstarch
  • 2 T Water

Directions



Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2

Place ham in roasting pan with a small amount of water in the bottom.

Step 3

Place pan into the oven, set timer for 1 hour.

Step 4

In a medium sized saucepan combine brown sugar, coke, bourbon, and butter. Place on burner set to medium high.

Step 5

As glaze reaches boil, combine cornstarch and water. Mix into glaze allow to thicken. Reduce to low heat

Step 6

Remove ham from the oven and drizzle the glaze over ham with a large spoon. Place ham back into oven.

Step 7

Set timer for 15 minutes, baste with pan juices. Return to oven and repeat.

Step 8

Pull Ham from the oven. Ham should register 140 F.

Step 9

Remove from pan place on cutting board. Cut several slices, arrange all pieces decoratively on plate.

Step 10

Spoon the remaining glaze over top of the ham and on the slices.
