Ingredients



  • 6 slices Kunzler Original Bacon
  • 1 T. Sugar or Salt
  • 2 Limes
  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 2 oz Triple sec
  • 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
  • ½ ounce Torani Bacon syrup (optional)

Directions



Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F. Place foil line tray with bacon into the oven, bake until crisp 16-18 minutes.

Step 2

When bacon is cool chop into bacon bits. Nice small size to properly “salt rim” margarita glasses.

Step 3

Combine bacon bits with salt or sugar and place into container.

Step 4

Juice one of the limes, measuring out 1 oz lime and set aside.

Step 5

Cut the other lime into wedges and rim the entire margarita glass.

Step 6

Place the rim of the margarita glass into the bacon bits, repeating pressing into bacon bits until the glass is covered.

Step 7

Combine last 4 ingredients blend with ice in blender. Pour margarita into the bacon rimmed glasses.

Step 8

Garnish with the lime wedge
