How Kunzler Celebrates National Hot Dog Day

Just in time for National Hot Dog Day, we’ve got four new ways to spice up your favorite Kunzler franks.

Whether grilled or fried, these hot dogs are sure to satisfy.

The Reuben

Start with our Beef Franks, made from 100% beef and our own recipe of spices we’ve perfected over generations. Top your hot dog with Sauerkraut, Corned Beef crumbles, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing drizzle! Better than your average deli Reuben!

 

The Pizza Dog

Made with Kunzler Jumbo Franks, made from beef, chicken and pork, and smoked to perfection.

Starts with fresh tomato sauce, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni. Last, but not least, drizzle with garlic aioli. (Recipe here: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/213608/garlic-aioli/)

The Walking Taco

This recipe begins with our seasonal Southwest Frank. This hot dog is made with pork and chicken, then we blend in cheddar cheese, black beans, corn, jalapeños and red peppers. It delivers a great flavor sensation with a subtle kick! Only available late Spring to early Fall.

A new take on the Walking Taco. Start with salsa, fresh or from a jar are both great! Next, sprinkle with shredded lettuce and top with crushed corn chips and a light sour cream drizzle. Slightly spicy and undoubtedly delicious!

The All Nighter

We’ve all been there, it’s late, your hungry. Let us cure your late night cravings with the All Nighter. Made from our grill franks, Kunzler deli ham and bacon. The trifecta of delicious Kunzler taste.

Slice Kunzler Ham and place on hot dog, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, crushed potato chips, crumbled bacon and drizzled with brown mustard.
