Ingredients



  • 1 7 lb Kunzler Old Fashioned Ham
  • 16 ounces Brown Sugar
  • ½ C Cola
  • ¾ C Bourbon
  • 4 T Butter
  • 1 T Cornstarch
  • 2 T Water
  • ½ C Spicy Brown Mustard (optional)

Directions



Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F

Step 2

Place ham in roasting pan with a small amount of water in the bottom

Step 3

Place pan into the oven, set timer for 1 hour

Step 4

In a medium sized saucepan combine brown sugar, cola, bourbon, and butter. Place on burner set to medium high

Step 5

As glaze reaches boil, combine cornstarch and water. Mix into glaze, allow to thicken. Reduce to low heat

Step 6

Remove ham from the oven and drizzle the glaze over ham with a large spoon. Place ham back into oven

Step 7

Set timer for 15 minutes, baste with pan juices. Return to oven and repeat

Step 8

Pull ham from the oven when internal temperature reaches 140 F

Step 9

Spoon the remaining glaze over top of the ham and enjoy
