Ingredients



  • 1 pack Kunzler Black Forest Bacon
  • 1 stick Unsalted butter
  • 4 C. (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 5 C. Rice Krispies Cereal
  • ½ C. Dried cherries
  • ½ C. Mini semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4.25 oz. Hershey Dark Chocolate
  • 1 t. Sea Salt
  • 4 T. reserved Kunzler Black Forest Bacon Fat
  • 2 T. Coffee
  • 2 T. Heavy Cream

Directions



Step 1

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, bake pack of bacon 20-22 minutes at 350 F.

Step 2

Drain and reserve bacon fat. Place slices of bacon on plate lined with paper towel. (Reserve 6 diced slices for filling and 2 for topping.)

Step 3

Melt 1 stick of butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add marshmallows, stir until combined.

Step 4

Add cereal, diced bacon, and cherries. Mix to incorporate, final step add the chocolate chips.

Step 5

When completely mixed, place into lightly greased 13x9 pan. Pressing to even thickness. Set aside.

Step 6

Prepare ganache for topping. Melt chocolate, stir in the next 4 ingredients. Continue stirring until ganache is shiny.

Step 7

Sprinkle remaining bacon on top of the Rice crispy treats. Drizzle with ganache.

Step 8

Allow ganache to set, remove from pan and cut into desired square shapes.
